Ellie Ablett MBE

Passionate about enabling individuals, teams and organisations to thrive and achieve their potential, Ellie Ablett is a performance coach with particular expertise in inclusive, empowering leadership and nurturing diversity.

An alumni of the London Business School’s Senior Executive Programme, she is an accomplished leader and manager with over 28 years’ experience as a Royal Navy Officer, where she achieved promotion to Commodore having spent much of her career trailblazing. After extensive service at sea and on joint operations, Ellie was the first woman to command one of the main Naval training establishments, HMS RALEIGH, and the first to serve as Executive Assistant to the Head of the Navy.

In 2013 she conceived and founded a highly successful professional network for Naval Servicewomen and was subsequently awarded an MBE in 2014. Her commitment to supporting other women and the Diversity and Inclusion agenda also led to her receiving The Spirit of Everywoman Award in 2013 and WeAreTheCity’s Rising Star Diversity Champion Award in 2018. She continues to support the network she founded, delivering acclaimed coaching residential events for Servicewomen.

Ellie also enjoys her work as an Outdoor Leader, taking her performance and leadership coaching into the hills, and as a motivational speaker. She is a Director of the education and training charity, Mountain Training UK and Ireland.
