Daz served in the Royal Marines for 31 years achieving the rank of Warrant Officer and accumulating many experiences. In 2009 he joined the Coaching and Mentoring Advisory Team at Commando Training Centre and spent 10 years in and out of study accumulating numerous qualifications in teaching, coaching, mentoring and leadership and quality assurance. He has experience delivering workshops to England RFU, England Football pre-world Cup, England Rowing pre world championships, numerous professional rugby clubs including; Exeter Chiefs, London Welsh, Llanelli, Neath and Plymouth Albion.

He is also successfully managing a team of tutors at a locally based college that facilitate apprenticeships around the South West of England. This also includes their performance management and academic growth.
