Kelly Rhodes
Kelly is an HR expert whose focus is on helping organisations to build brilliant business culture. She advises leaders on how to get real value from their HR assets and drive healthy and sustainable commercial growth, without losing sight of the organisation’s purpose and values.
Kelly served in the British Army’s Royal Regiment of Artillery during which time she developed the British Army’s first crisis management policy in Afghanistan delivered training programmes for units deploying on operations around the world. She later led global strategic HR projects at BNY Mellon and HSBC. She has significant experience in the wellbeing and mental health space, and in HR transformation. Kelly now runs a consultancy business which provides outsourced and in-house HR services to start-ups and small companies.
Kelly is a strong advocate of work-life balance and the benefits of rest, exercise, personal development and reflection. She enjoys cycling, swimming and running (but not all in one event). Based in Edinburgh, she is a Trustee of the Royal Scots War Memorial Trust and a member of the Army Benevolent Fund Scottish Grants Committee.
