
Graeme Fraser MBE
Graeme is a professional coach and leadership consultant supporting executives with strategic advice, mentoring and change management training. He enjoys coaching executives from a range of sectors, blending theory, leadership experience and practical learning to help senior leaders optimise performance and galvanise resilience. In addition, he continues to serve the nation on a part-time basis through leadership of the Royal Navy’s Heritage portfolio and sits on the Board of the National Museum of the Royal Navy.
Graeme’s prior career as a Royal Marines Officer spanned over 30 years and saw him privileged to command at all levels from Second Lieutenant to Brigadier. Operationally deployed on numerous occasions, he has served in extreme environments across the globe often in rapidly changing situations. An accomplished senior leader with a proven track record of assured delivery, complex risk management, financial responsibility and collaboratively leading change, he has expertise in crisis response and building organisational resilience. With extensive experience in the maritime, multi-agency and heritage spheres, his innovative instinct is underpinned by outstanding communication skills, refined planning capabilities and passionate belief in the potency of empowered delegation. His Board level experience extends over multiple organisations and he has held positions on expert groups advising Welsh Government including the Wales Resilience Forum. A trained coach, Graeme holds an MA(Hons) in history; a Masters degree in Defence Studies; is a chartered manager; and was recognised in 2024 by the Institute of Directors with the Chair’s Award for Excellence in Director and Board Practise.
